Do I need planning permission for a renovation?

Many internal renovations fall under 'Permitted Development' and do not require full planning permission. However, extensions, significant structural changes, or work on listed buildings often do. We provide a full assessment during our initial consultation and handle all council applications for you.

Can I live in the property during the renovation?

For many projects, yes. We can phase the work to ensure you always have access to essential facilities (kitchen/bathroom). For complete "back-to-brick" refurbishments, moving out temporarily is often safer and allows the work to be completed faster, but we will discuss the best strategy for your specific situation.

How long does a typical house renovation take?

Timelines vary by scope. A single room makeover might take 2-3 weeks. A full house refurbishment typically takes 8-12 weeks depending on size and complexity. We provide a detailed Gantt chart schedule before starting so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes. We offer a 10-year warranty on structural works and standard manufacturer warranties on all fixtures and fittings. We are fully insured and CITB certified, giving you complete peace of mind.

How accurate are your quotes?

We pride ourselves on transparency. Our quotes are detailed and itemized. Unless you change the specifications during the build, the price we quote is the price you pay. We do not believe in hidden costs or surprise add-ons.
